Cheeky and Dry didn’t start as a business plan—it started as a bold life pivot. When Yura made the brave decision to go to alcohol rehab, his wife Kirstin poured her last glass in solidarity. But what came next? A sea of sad seltzers, overly sweet pretend drinks, and a serious lack of options that felt… well, grown-up.
So, Kirstin did what any discerning, slightly stubborn woman would do: she built the shop she wished existed.
Six months later, Cheeky and Dry opened its doors with a mission to bring bold, sophisticated, non-alcoholic choices to the people—without making anyone feel like they were missing out. Whether you're alcohol-free forever or just skipping a night, you deserve a drink that earns its spot in your hand.
And this isn’t just any bottle shop. It's a family-run operation with heart (and impeccable taste). Kirstin is the curator-in-chief—if she wouldn’t drink it, it doesn’t hit the shelf. Yura, whose journey inspired the whole thing, remains the soul of the place. Their son Hunter manages the shop, Grandma Cathy keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, and daughter Katie makes us look fabulous on social media. It’s a full house, and yes, we all get along… mostly.
We’re proud to be Seattle’s first and only dedicated non-alcoholic bottle shop, and we’re here for the flavor lovers, the ritual keepers, the celebration makers, and anyone who’s ever said, “I want something interesting—just without the alcohol.”
