Why We Love It
Noughty was one of the early bottles that showed us non-alcoholic sparkling wine could be taken seriously. Made from organic Chardonnay, it begins as traditionally fermented wine before the alcohol is gently removed through vacuum distillation at low temperature, helping preserve its aromas and character. We love the balance here: generous fruit, crisp acidity and fine bubbles without an overly sweet finish. It's polished enough for a special occasion but unfussy enough to keep chilled for Tuesday.
Bubbles are very good at dinner: oysters with lemon, Dungeness crab, smoked salmon with crème fraîche, crispy calamari, grilled prawns, roast chicken with herbs, mushroom tart, triple-cream cheese, or a pile of salty fries with aioli.
