Whissin Whiskey

Whissin is a 0.0% non-alcoholic whisky alternative from Spain, blended with flavors of barley, maize, wheat, caramel and oak. It has a noticeably sweeter profile than many whisky alternatives, with caramel and malt leading into gentle grain and oak notes.

Rather than trying to mimic the intensity of a 40% whisky neat, Whissin works best as a cocktail ingredient, where that sweetness can be balanced with bitters, citrus or other drier ingredients.

Why We Love It

Whissin has been around much longer than most non-alcoholic spirits, and it has a distinctive style of its own. It’s sweeter and softer than traditional whisky, which makes it particularly useful in cocktails where you can build bitterness and acidity around it. We prefer it mixed rather than served neat.

Try It With

Whissin Old Fashioned: add 2 oz Whissin and 3 to 4 dashes All The Bitter Aromatic Bitters to a rocks glass with a large cube. Stir well and finish with an orange peel. Because Whissin already brings plenty of sweetness, we skip the simple syrup.

Especially good with aged cheddar, smoked almonds, barbecue, charcuterie or dark chocolate.
