Redentore Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso Non Alcoholic Wine
100% Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso from estate grown fruit. The grapes are all de-stemmed then macerated for 10-15 days in tanks at a temperature of 25-28°C, with frequent pumping over. The wine is fermented with wild yeasts at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for one year on fine lees in second-use and third-use barrique. It’s bottled unfined and unfiltered without any sulfur additions.
This Refosco is packed with dark berry fruit, accented with cacao, sandalwood, and spice. Deliciously medium-bodied and enticing with it’s dark ruby color. Acid and tannin is well balanced and the wine steers clear of any sort of jammy or cloying mouthfeel. 13.5% ABV. Certified Organic.
